Within direct radio visibility, the ratio of the jamming range (Dn) for all FPV drone types to the communication range (De) is at least 0.05 (Dn/Dc>0.15)*.
Working with the detector
The UAV detector unit is integrated with the «Medusa» EW system through the automatic control unit (ACS).
The modules "Medusa 3M EW - ACS unit - detector" operate as follows:
- When a UAV signal is detected, the "Medusa 3M" EW system switches on automatically for 10 minutes (any duration can be programmed).
- The "Medusa 3M" EW system then switches off and the detector returns to detection mode.
- If a signal is detected again, the algorithm repeats.
